Supporter and Contributor to the Parker Mother & Child Foundation
The Compassion exchange is proud to be a supporter and contributor to the, Parker
Mother & Child Foundation..A compassionate foundation for humanity with
successful activities positively affecting the communities of Uganda Africa over
many years.
This foundation and member of the compassion exchange online aggregator has
been continuously building relationships through positive examples of good deeds
in Africa over the years. Awarding scholarships like in the case of Jane Mandera,
who as a shy teenager never thought she would have been privileged to go on to
secondary school until she received a life changing sponsorship from Parker Mother
& Child Foundation.
After achieving this opportunity she then expressed an interest in nursing school.
She was encouraged by PMCF to take the entrance exam when she was in doubt of
her competency to achieve. After conquering her fears successfully she then
expressed interest in dentistry instead of nursing.
Jane entered a dentistry program in Mulago Hospital where she accomplished her
goal doing extraordinary well for herself, family and community making her father
proud.
The Compassion exchange acknowledge and salute the great work of the Parker
Mother & Child Foundation for making this story of hope a successful fulfillment and
example of compassion in Uganda Africa.
PMCF Success Stories
Parker Mother & Child Foundation was established to provide educational opportunities to qualified girls who could not otherwise afford to attend school. We look for motivated young women who will bring the skills they learn back to their communities.
Many girls have little to look forward to in their future. In Uganda, there is no free education beyond primary school, and many families simply cannot afford to educate their daughters. For a girl to go to high school and college, she almost always has to find outside funds to support her.
Your generous donation will make it possible for a girl to have a future.
